it is one thing to want to and hope to be able to see things from another person's point of view
it is another thing when you are walking around in that person's shoes
it requires you to put away all your desires and even your own point of view
something which is literally inseparable from you
and immerse yourself totally in the other person's role
and feel the same way as the other person does
i must say
it really isn't as hard as what i previously thought it would be
it's even HARDER
the perfectionist in me finally bows down
i realise that i should really stop putting myself down
i can't be perfect all the time
much as i want to be
the people around me are like a mirror
that tells me when i need to step back and think
i believe that when there's a will, there's a way
